The SAFe Agile Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding and coaching multiple Agile teams within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role involves facilitating SAFe ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. The Advisor will also provide strategic insights and mentorship to other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners within the organization.
Your role in our mission
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate SAFe Ceremonies: Lead Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and progress tracking.
- Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and mentorship to Agile teams and other Scrum Masters, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in SAFe methodologies.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between the Agile teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of Agile strategies across the organization, aligning with business objectives and enhancing overall productivity.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity and burndown charts, to stakeholders and leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Agile Advocacy: Promote Agile principles and practices within the organization, conducting workshops and training sessions as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Proven track record of successfully coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as ADO (Azure DevOps) and others.
- Experience with scaling Agile practices in large organizations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and technical practices.
