The Role
We're seeking an HR Coordinator to support the internal HR function in their Central London office. This is a varied, hands-on role perfect for someone early in their HR career who wants to develop their skills within a sophisticated, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage background checks, new hire documentation, onboarding processes, and leaver administration
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, process benefit changes, and prepare HR documentation including promotion and contract variation letters
- HR Projects: Support annual performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and other firm-wide HR initiatives
- Employee Support: Respond to HR queries relating to systems, benefits, and policies with professionalism and discretion
- Benefits Administration: Work alongside the HR Business Partner and Payroll Manager to administer employee benefits
- Policy Management: Assist with annual handbook updates and policy maintenance
Essential Requirements
- Degree-educated
- Knowledge of UK employment law and regulations
- Previous HR systems experience (Workday experience highly desirable)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
