About The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst Intern you'll work directly with stakeholders and project teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, help deliver analytical insights, and support solution delivery on-site in Australia.

Role & Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate functional requirements and user stories for small-to-medium projects.
• Analyze datasets using SQL and Excel to produce clear, actionable reports and dashboards that inform decisions.
• Create data visualisations and presentation-ready materials (Power BI/Tableau or Excel) for stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Support testing activities: prepare test cases, perform data validation, and track defects until resolution.
• Collaborate within Agile teams—participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective activities.
• Maintain clear documentation (process flows, business rules, requirement traceability) and handover artifacts for implementation teams.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, IT, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and basic SQL query skills for extracting and analysing data.
• Strong written and verbal communication with experience presenting findings to peers or academic groups.
  
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau and basic dashboard-building experience.
• Exposure to Agile delivery, user-story writing, or requirements-management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Prior internship or project experience in business analysis, reporting, or stakeholder-facing roles.
