About this exciting opportunity

As a Culture Development Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting SeaSim employees’ professional growth by assisting with AIMS efforts to foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and administering cultural initiatives, leadership development programs, and employee engagement strategies in the SeaSim.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing on the job assistance to staff to assist with completion of required training as required;
  • Coordinating workshops and feedback to generate content to inform the SeaSim Team Conduct Charter;
  • Assisting in the development of a clear, actionable cultural strategy with measurable outcomes; and
  • Working with various members of the Safety team to contribute to reviewing and refining onboarding processes to ensure they are comprehensive, fit for purpose, and reflective of actual work done in SeaSim.


About you

Underpinning your suitability for this role will be your Tertiary qualification such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Human Resource Management, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or Communication or similar. You have experience in in Organisational Development, Workplace Training, Human Resources, change management, employee engagement, workplace culture or facilitation roles and have the ability to facilitate and conduct face to face and online workshops and coordinate feedback to support and deliver cultural improvement actions.

Your excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage projects within specific timeframes paired with your strong written and verbal communication skills will allow you to be successful in this role. You have the ability to listen, persuade and influence. Your willingness to work in both operational and corporate environments and experience working in or on cultural improvement programs would be highly desirable.

AIMS AOF Level 3 (3.1-3.5) salary ($76,454 to $86,147 per annum) plus 15.4% superannuation
