Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Proactively checking network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Provide technical support as needed to maintain network operation objective
- Assist departments across the organization in understanding and implementing network solutions in ways that are cost effective and align with business objectives
- Provide expert level knowledge for all network security related tools included but not limited to firewalls, IPS, ACLs
- Works closely with other network engineers and cross-functional teams, review, execute technical designs and provide technical direction
- Evaluate, define and develop new and existing reference standards and their adoption, to successfully on-board services with speed, quality and efficiency
- Participate in an on-call (24x7) support rotation with other members of the Network Operation Center
- Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field of studies
- 2+ years hands on experience in supporting enterprise level networks
- Experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers
- Experience in routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
- Experience in firewall technologies such as Forcepoint, Cisco, PaloAlto
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Experience working with Wireshark
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects
- Fluency in English
