Proximus is transforming its way of working bringing agile methodology into business environments in addition to the traditional IT environments. In this context we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to join our team to be our go-to person for applying Scrum, Kanban and/or any other relevant Agile practice in the squads of framework to increase effectiveness of the teamwork. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Ultimately, you will help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive. You will work with squad(s) composed by different profiles and competencies
Role & Responsibilities
- You will onboard the squad members in the new way of working, mindset and team dynamics. Your objective is to empower people to achieve top performance and create value for the company.
- You serve as a single point of contact for the squad’s effectiveness by ensuring continuous flow and support.
- You remove the squad’s impediments: That may imply interactions with other teams, escalations, persuasion and building bridges of collaboration.
- You protect the squads from outside distractions and interferences and keep them focussed on the work to deliver
- You facilitate agile ceremonies for the allocated squads and guide them towards self-organization.
- You identify the needs for specific coaching of the team members in your squad.
- You identify which practices are best fit for the squad team members
- You ensure the agile team gradually takes over these practices, in collaboration with the other agile roles (PO, agile coaches, …).
- As an experienced scrum master you take up the role ofmentor for your colleague junior scrum master
- You have a bachelor or master degree or equivalent by experience
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a scrum master
- You are a certified Scrum Master (mandatory)
- You have experience in telecom sector (mandatory)
- You are optimistic, structured, solution oriented, creative with an open mind
- Customer centricity and continuous improvement is part of your nature
- You value communication and collaboration with others
- You have a learning attitude
- Having knowledge in change management (AKDAR,... ) is a good asset in order to support the team in its continuous improvement
- Good knowledge (both oral and written) of English is mandatory
- The knowledge of Dutch and/or French is nice to have
