🎯 The Role
You’ll join the People Operations and Rewards team, the operational backbone of our People function. This role blends operational excellence with day-to-day support to managers, ensuring our People processes, workflows, and data stay reliable while guiding teams through routine employment decisions.
As People Operations Generalist, you’ll manage day-to-day HR administration, payroll inputs and benefits across Europe (with France as your main scope), support other regions when needed, coordinate global People processes, help keep our HRIS and workflows clean, reliable and scalable and provide support to managers on employment-related operational matters.
This role requires strong coordination skills, as you will keep processes, providers and stakeholders aligned across several countries.
💼 Your Responsibilities
- HR administration:
- End-to-end HR admin for France (DPAE, contracts/amendments, probation tracking, medical checks, statutory records, benefits administration).
- Guide managers through routine employment actions (contract renewals, probation decisions, role changes, leaves).
- For other European countries (mainly EOR): manage documentation, onboarding/ off-boarding steps and employee files completeness, benefits administration
- Act as the first point of contact for employees for operational HR questions
- Payroll: prepare monthly payroll variables (hires, exits, commissions, time-off, leaves, allowances, benefits changes)
- Global coordination of People processes:
- Coordinate global processes such as onboarding, offboarding and employee changes across multiple countries, ensuring tasks, owners and deadlines are clearly tracked and completed
- Proactively follow-up with stakeholders and providers to keep processes moving
- Maintain and update global checklists, templates and workflows.
- HRIS data accuracy & audits
- Maintain clear and accurate employee data in the HRIS and connected tools
- Run regular data audits and correct them to keep our reporting reliable
- Support on processes, workflows and automations
- People Ops and Total Rewards Lead: your manager for priorities, process alignment and final payroll approvals
- Payroll providers & EOR partner: for data submission, timelines and corrections
- Finance: for payroll payment coordination and deadlines and files alignment
- Talent Acquisition: to hand over new hires and ensure smooth onboarding
- IT: for account setup and deactivation for joiners, movers and leavers
- Employees and managers across Europe: as the first point of contact for operational HR questions, data updates, onboarding/ off-boarding topics and benefits or payroll-related queries
- 7+ years experience with HR Operations and payroll with proficient knowledge of France regulations plus exposure to multi-country HR or payroll environments.
- Very strong attention to detail and comfortable with systems and checklists
- Ability to interact confidently with managers and guide them through employment steps
- Full professional fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
- A hands-on, reliable working style
