The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join the Agentic Experience (AI) team — a small, high-impact group operating like a startup inside a growing European tech company. This team is building the backend foundation for new AI-driven and agentic capabilities that transform how users interact with the platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role where Kotlin isn’t just “nice to have” — it’s at the core of everything you’ll build.

What You’ll Work On

• Designing and scaling Kotlin-based backend services that power AI and agentic features.
• Building integrations with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and emerging AI technologies.
• Owning features end-to-end — from idea → architecture → production rollout → monitoring.
• Partnering with Product, DS, and other engineering teams to drive high-impact solutions.
• Navigating a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and experimentation is encouraged.
• Influencing architectural decisions and shaping technical strategy across AI initiatives.

Your Experience

You’ll succeed if you have:

• 5+ years of backend engineering, with strong Kotlin or Java experience.
• Proven experience designing microservices in cloud environments.
• Curiosity about new technologies and a drive to learn continuously.
• Ability to communicate well across teams and handle shifting priorities.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic AI frameworks (e.g., MCP).
• Exposure to workflow automation tools like n8n.
