Job Description: L3 Network Engineer / Expertise in Zscaler, SD-WAN (Velocloud), Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and F5 Load Balancers

Role – Network administrator/ SME

Location of hire – Frankfurt Germany

Mode of work - Should be working from customer office in Frankfurt 2/3 days a week

Working hours (Specify if not 40 hours in a week) – 40 hours per week, additional support on call basis for P1 incidents


  • Minimum of five years' experience in an enterprise networking environment, with demonstrable Level 3 engineering responsibilities.
  • Extensive, hands-on expertise with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, VMware Velocloud SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks, and F5 BIG-IP technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols, firewall administration, VPN implementation, and network segmentation.
  • Proven experience integrating cloud-based security and networking solutions within enterprise architectures.
  • Relevant professional certifications—such as CCNP, PCNSE, ZCCA-IA, or F5—are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and participate in cross-functional technical initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated enterprise network environments incorporating Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), SD-WAN solutions such as Velocloud, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
  • Serve as the escalation point for Level 3 troubleshooting across all supported platforms, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Enforce robust security policies utilizing Zscaler and Palo Alto technologies to ensure secure access and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Configure, optimize, and monitor SD-WAN deployments and Meraki cloud-managed networks to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Integrate and manage F5 load balancers within diverse application environments, including overseeing iRules, SSL offloading, and advanced traffic management functionalities.
  • Document network designs, topologies, and operational procedures for knowledge dissemination and audit readiness.
  • Support the lifecycle management of network infrastructure, including upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.

Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively recommend network enhancements and maintain a resilient security posture
