Senior Data Analyst – Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: €60,000–€70,000 depending on experience

Our client is a leading Irish retail and energy company with a strong presence across the country. They are expanding their digital and analytics capabilities and are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help shape how the business uses data to drive decisions.

This is a great role for someone who’s commercially minded, confident working with different teams, and enjoys turning data into clear, useful insights.

The Role

You’ll manage and develop the company’s reporting suite, ensuring data is accurate, insightful, and supports key business areas such as retail and finance. You’ll work on data pipeline maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new data feeds from ongoing business developments. You’ll also work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and create new reports and dashboards that help drive performance.

Must Have

• Solid hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Power BI
• Strong SQL and ETL/ELT skills
• Ability to build, optimise, and troubleshoot data pipelines
• Experience working with APIs, file ingestion, and vendor data feeds
• Confident working with commercial and finance teams to understand reporting needs

Would Like

• Experience with Synapse, ADF, or Databricks
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Logic Apps, or Key Vault
• Background in a commercial or retail organisation

Desirable

• Exposure to ML or forecasting models (e.g. Prophet, ARIMA, PySpark)
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or collaborating across teams
