We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer – Specialist with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Unix systems, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure support to contribute to a critical financial/technical platform within one of the European Institutions in Luxembourg.

This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the ION WSS Platform, ensuring performance, stability and security, while supporting development and production environments.

Responsibilities

CI/CD & Platform Engineering

• Build, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Support the full build, validation, deployment and release processes.
• Generate reports on pipeline execution and system status.
• Ensure performance, security and reliability of deployment workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices and automation (tools not specified – Not provided).

Infrastructure & System Administration

• Perform basic Unix system administration tasks and environment configuration.
• Monitor platform health, system performance and service availability.
• Support incident resolution across development and production environments.
• Assist with server-side troubleshooting (Windows/Linux details partially provided).
• Provide infrastructure support for the ION WSS Platform.

Technical Support & Root Cause Analysis

• Investigate issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve build, deployment and runtime issues.

Required Profile

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• If no degree: at least 10 years of equivalent professional experience.

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, automation, processes).
• Excellent experience working in Unix environments.
• Knowledge of Java programming language and JVM runtime (not specified if hands-on coding is required).
• Good understanding of Relational Databases (SQL) and stored procedures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (other than Azure DevOps – Not provided).
