About This Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Android Developer to join our cross-functional team to contribute to the development, maintenance and publication of our app.
Since you master the Android ecosystem and you're always up to date with the latest technologies, you will ensure the application stays up to date with the periodic updates and new features of the Android OS, and thus ensure it stays the coolest ever! We only have one application, but we do it right.
This role is remote-compatible and accessible anywhere Atolls has an office in Europe (Germany / France / UK / Spain / Poland / Netherlands).

About This Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Android Developer to join our cross-functional team to contribute to the development, maintenance and publication of our app.
Since you master the Android ecosystem and you're always up to date with the latest technologies, you will ensure the application stays up to date with the periodic updates and new features of the Android OS, and thus ensure it stays the coolest ever! Responsibilities
- Take part in the discovery steps with our Product team
- Collaborate with the Android team to keep the project's technical consistency
- Implement the newest features according to the team guidelines
- Take part in code reviews
- Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline
- Challenge the status quo and improve the existing project
- Be able to switch between research, technical spikes and technical implementation comfortably.
- Write clear and understandable documentation on existing and new features
- Have ever accomplished a Dagger-Hilt migration project
- Have ever implemented a design system with Compose
- Skilled in the Android development ecosystem and already have at least 4 years of experience in the field
- Able to work independently and in full autonomy
- Know Kotlin but you’re not afraid of working with Java
- Like spending time to improve your skills and comprehension of the languages and frameworks you use daily
- Have experience with Jetpack Compose
- Able riding with Flows and Coroutines
- Have experience with dependency injection frameworks
- Experienced used Android Architecture Components
- Have some experience writing unit and instrumented tests
- Experienced working with REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Hate to see unoptimised or unstable apps
- Have an user-oriented approach
- Love sharing your knowledge or findings
- Fluent in English
- Your communication skills are top-notch
