About Braive

Braive is one of the Nordic’s leading healthtech platforms, driven by a mission to make high-quality mental health treatment more accessible. We bring together clinical research, evidence-based methods, and emerging technologies to build a safe, effective, and scalable mental health platform that’s used by thousands of patients and clinicians every month.

With support from respected investors and customers across several markets, Braive is entering an energizing phase of growth – in 2026 we expect to more than triple the number of people who access mental health through our platform, all while maintaining high clinical safety and efficacy.

You’ll join a mission-focused team of engineers, designers, product leaders, and psychologists working side-by-side to shape the future of mental healthcare.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and evolving Braive’s core mental health screening and treatment platform — the backbone of our enterprise SaaS offering. You’ll work across the stack with Vue 3 and Java/Kotlin, contributing to platform-wide architecture while leading the frontend vision and strategy for a product used daily by clinicians and patients.

You’ll help shape modular architecture, build new features, improve existing systems, and partner closely with PMs, designers, and clinicians to deliver products that are safe, intuitive, and impactful. This role blends platform stewardship with hands-on feature delivery, giving you the opportunity to influence technical standards while building high-quality experiences end-to-end.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain fullstack features with Java/Kotlin (backend) and Vue 3 (frontend).
  • Lead our frontend engineering direction by guiding frontend architecture decisions, setting code-quality standards, and mentoring teammates
  • Contribute to the broader platform architecture by developing and maintaining microservices and microfrontend modules
  • Alongside your UI/UX colleagues, design, build, and evolve Braive’s design system and component libraries across our patient- and clinician-facing platforms
  • Work within a microservices and distributed systems architecture, deployed on modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Collaborate closely with engineering peers, PMs, and clinical leaders to drive product discovery as well as delivery
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors (ownership, mentoring, high agency) with potential to grow into tech-lead responsibilities over time
  • Maintain high-quality engineering practices in a regulated environment (ISO 27001, MDR, GDPR)

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Vue 3 and/or similar frontend frameworks, modern frontend architecture, and building robust component libraries or design systems
  • 2+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin on the backend.
  • Hands-on experience with microfrontends (MFE) and an understanding of modular frontend architectures.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-based development (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Full professional fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Background in healthtech, fintech, or edtech.
  • Experience building design systems at scale or contributing to shared component frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security-sensitive systems or sensitive data handling.
  • Experience working closely with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., clinicians, researchers)

What we offer

  • The opportunity to work with technology that has a real impact on mental health
  • A passionate, cross-functional team with high ambitions and great warmth
  • Mental health day the last Friday of every month
  • A cozy office in Gamla Stan
  • Competitive salary at market-rate level
