NodeJS Developer (Backend)
Hybrid contract, 6 months
Up to £600 per day, OutsideIR35
I am searching for an experienced NodeJS specialist to join a backend engineering team that is responsible for building tools and data pipelines used for ingestion and modelling.
Key skills required:
• Strong commercial experience with NodeJS
• Solid JavaScript background, ideally with ES6 or ES7 features
• Experience with Vue, Express or Sequelize
• Previous work deploying, configuring and monitoring applications on AWS
• Confidence working with both relational and NoSQL databases, including complex queries and performance tuning
• Good understanding of common web design patterns such as the SOLID principles
• Comfortable working in a collaborative and agile environment
• Familiar with automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery
