Key Responsibilities

Guarantee Technical Solutions for Software Delivery, Infrastructure & Deployment

• Manage software delivery from source code to deployment packages.
• Design system architecture and implement Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
• Define and develop processes for continuous integration and deployment across development, QA, and production environments.
• Provide automated tools and scripts for provisioning infrastructure resources (compute, network, storage) efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements.

Secure Product Operability

• Understand the functional context of the product and challenge functional decisions when necessary.
• Maintain state-of-the-art product architecture.
• Implement operational best practices, including monitoring, backups, archiving, and log management.

Enable Team Awareness

• Inform and train the software team on operational constraints and best practices.

Qualifications

IT System Administration

• Proficiency in services, SSH, user management, and filesystem operations.

DevOps Tooling

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Administration of GitLab CI/CD.
• Development and maintenance of Ansible playbooks and modules.
• Building CI/CD pipelines for private data centers and public cloud.
• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Documentation using Markdown.

Infrastructure as Code

• Automation using Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of VMware, HyperV, and Proxmox.

Networking

• Experience with NGINX and HAProxy configuration.
• Familiarity with network commands (curl, telnet, netstat).
• Understanding of LAN architecture, DNS, SSL.

Security

• Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes secrets).
• Password-less SSH configuration.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced system administration (IPtables, kernel tuning).
• Experience with Sonatype Nexus, Sonarqube, Blackduck Coverity, Trivy.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, IBMMQ, EMQX, Minio, Redis.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes Service Mesh (Istio).
• Monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus), log collection (ELK, FluentBit).
• MQTT broker configuration and Kibana dashboard creation.
• Understanding of technical architecture methodologies (RPO, RTO, SLA).
• Database basics (MySQL dump, clustering models).
• Agile methodology experience.
• Git Flow and GitOps concepts.
• Development skills in Java, Go, or C#

This will begin as a one year contract with potential for renewal.
