About the team
Data Cycling Center (DCC) is a Data Science team responsible for building the mid-platform data layer that powers AI development across all business lines of TikTok including e-commerce, advertising, livestreaming and emerging technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data infrastructure at massive scale with a direct impact on TikTok's global ecosystem.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. About The Role
We are looking for a Product Management Intern with a high bar for quality, ownership, and design sensibility. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers on real platform product features, user research, and performance analysis. You will get exposure to product strategy, the end-to-end development lifecycle, and cross-functional team collaboration.
This internship will be project based. Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage you to apply as early as possible.
Responsibilities
- Support the product team in defining and documenting product requirements (PRDs) and user flows
- Analyse user behavior, and propose actionable product insights
- Help translate product ideas into wireframes and Figma mockups with attention to detail
- Participate in agile processes (e.g. standups, sprint planning) and shadow the full product lifecycle
- Conduct UAT (user acceptance testing) and interpret user feedback for product iterations
- Track product metrics and user feedback to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with engineering, data scientists, and other business stakeholders to ensure product features are delivered with high quality
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- A structured thinker with good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated interest in product thinking and technology (through school projects, internships, or personal initiatives)
- Comfortable working with design tools (e.g. Figma) and product documentation (e.g. PRDs, specs, diagrams)
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of user experience and usability
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Business, or a related field
- Previous internship or project experience in product management, UX/UI, or software development is preferred
- A portfolio of personal or academic projects demonstrating product thinking and design collaboration is a plus
- Exposure to agile development methodologies is a plus
- Basic understanding of API design, SQL, or scripting (Python) is a bonus
