Job Description – Cloud Network Specialist

Location: Singapore

Work Mode: Hybrid

Duration: 6 months – 1 year (extendable)

Salary: Up to SGD 10,000 per month


Role: Cloud Network Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tickets and incidents via ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead technical incident calls as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Troubleshoot and provide break-fix support for complex technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and shared ownership of issue resolution.
  • Mentor and train team members as SME.
  • Conduct testing, auditing, and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Work in a Follow-the-Sun global support model.
  • Maintain high levels of customer and employee satisfaction.


Technology Expertise Required

  • Routing & Switching (R&S): BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, MPLS, WAN.
  • Cloud Networking: AWS Advanced Networking / Cloud Architect, Azure Networking, AWS Load Balancers.
  • Hybrid Integration: Hyperscaler + On‑Prem DC integration, capacity planning.
  • SD‑WAN: Cisco Viptela (Vmanage, VSmart, VEdge, VBond).
  • Switching Platforms: Cisco, Arista, Nexus, Catalyst.
  • Wireless: Cisco, Aruba, Meraki.
  • Load Balancers: F5 (Virtual + Physical).
  • Debugging Tools: Wireshark (expert level).
  • Desirable: P5G knowledge.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer supporting global infrastructures.
  • Strong background in virtual devices deployment, hyperscaler integration, and cloud networking.
  • Hands-on with Cisco ASR, ISR, Catalyst, Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K), Meraki MS/MX, and F5 load balancers.
  • Proven expertise in LAN/WAN troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation.
  • Experience in Follow-the-Sun global support model.
  • Engineering-level hyperscaler accreditation (AWS/Azure).


Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)

  • Cisco CCIE
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking / Architect
  • Microsoft Azure Certified
  • F5-CSE / F5-CTS
  • Cisco 300-415 ENSDWI (SD-WAN)
  • ITIL v4


Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication (English).
  • Strong customer handling and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead high-pressure incident calls with confidence.
  • Team mentoring and knowledge-sharing mindset.
