Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance core platform components and backend services.
- Shape architectural decisions, contributing to system simplification and modernization.
- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance backend solutions for large-scale user traffic.
- Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and system observability.
- Support security initiatives, including authentication and authorization implementations (RBAC/ABAC).
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and incident resolution processes.
- Work cross-functionally to enable new product capabilities and platform integrations.
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 3 years with PHP.
- Strong expertise with PHP and the Laravel ecosystem.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and distributed storage systems (e.g., Redis).
- Knowledge of secure coding principles and modern authentication/authorization approaches.
- Experience with containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Background in high-load systems or platform-level services is highly desirable.
- English proficiency suitable for technical discussions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
