The Opportunity


We are seeking an accomplished executive to lead our Public Sector Sales & Government Partnerships organization. This role is designed for a senior-level leader who can influence government policy, shape large-scale digital transformation, and drive significant revenue growth across federal, state, and local agencies.


With a seven-figure OTE, this is an exceptional opportunity to guide public-sector strategy at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure modernization.


What You’ll Do


  • Own the public-sector revenue strategy, accelerating adoption of VirtualFusion’s AI-driven infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build, deepen, and influence high-level relationships across government agencies, policymakers, and strategic partners.
  • Guide complex, multi-year sales cycles—creating momentum for modernization initiatives across large public organizations.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, forecast with precision, and consistently exceed growth objectives.
  • Represent VirtualFusion in government forums, industry associations, and policy-influencing environments.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to shape public-sector offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Provide market intelligence to support corporate strategy, partnerships, and legislative awareness.


What You Bring


  • Deep experience selling into the public sector with a strong record of exceeding multimillion-dollar revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence government stakeholders, shape policy direction, and drive transformation across large public-sector institutions.
  • Extensive understanding of AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure—paired with the ability to articulate complex solutions to senior leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level government audiences.
  • Proven success navigating long, complex procurement cycles and highly strategic enterprise deals.
  • Experience operating in a remote, high-performance environment while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
