We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, improving network performance, and ensuring reliable connectivity across a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and maintain network systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements
- Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure network security, compliance, and redundancy best practices
- Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network projects
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations
- Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives
- Experience in network administration, network engineering, or related IT roles
- Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and structured working style
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
- Fully remote position within Australia
- Exposure to modern network technologies and infrastructure projects
