Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to creating scalable and efficient applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of developers and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions using modern frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend systems of high quality using Python, ideally with FastAPI
• Design APIs in close collaboration with frontend developers to ensure reliability
• Optimize databases and utilize SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Participate in the containerization and orchestration of applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure smooth integration and deployment processes in cloud environments like Amazon Web Services
• Collaborate across teams to align system architecture with business objectives
• Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve technical challenges effectively
• Contribute to peer code reviews to encourage a maintainable and clean codebase
• Enhance the development process with automated workflows and pipelines
• Provide technical documentation and input during project planning

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend application development with Python
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services
• Skills in creating user interfaces using ReactJS or Svelte with TypeScript
• Competency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in working with and administering SQL databases
• Familiarity with Golang or similar backend programming languages is an asset

Nice to have

• Background in automated testing workflows for JavaScript environments
• Understanding of E2E testing frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
• Knowledge of tools for developer platforms, like Backstage
• Expertise in leveraging code quality tools including SonarQube
• Capability to implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions
