Tasks
Flight Operations is responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of pilots. As part of IT projects, you will primarily be involved in the implementation of iPad apps and server applications.
- You will develop applications for pilots’ electronic flight bags (EFB) using Dart, Flutter, and C#, covering both front-end and back-end components
- You will implement server-side applications serving as backends for EFB solutions
- You will collaborate with specialist departments and pilots to define and specify new features
- You will contribute to the design and technical implementation of new functionalities

- You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment must be attached to your application)
- You are currently studying in a technical major (computer science, software engineering or similar)
- You are interested in the aviation industry and enjoy familiarizing yourself with various topics
- You have analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as strategic understanding
- You have a high level of problem-solving skills
- You have some practical programming experience (Dart/Flutter, Java, Kotlin, C# etc.)
- You have basic knowledge of Git
- You ideally have experience with the following applications:
- Initial experience with Flutter state management (e.g. Provider, Riverpod or Bloc)
- Experience with DevOps (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI etc.)
- Working with REST APIs and JSON
- Test-driven development
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
- You have an unrestricted work permit for Austria/the European Union
