We are currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated professional for our client:
HR Legal Counsel (gn)
Your Role
As HR Legal Counsel, you will play a key advisory role within the Group HR organization. Serving as the trusted advisor to the Head of Group HR and HR leadership team, you will provide expert guidance on employment law across different countries and ensure compliance with company standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Contracts & Policies: Developing and maintaining employment and executive contracts, as well as developing policies and guidelines in close cooperation with local experts and external law firms.
- Legal Case Management: Handling employment-related legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel, and representing the company’s position effectively.
- Negotiations: Leading and supporting contractual negotiations with senior leaders, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with company principles.
- Project Support: Preparing presentations, documentation, and legal materials for special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborative Mindset: You act as a proactive partner across functions, ensuring that legal insights translate into practical business impact.
Your Profil:
- Law degree with a specialization in employment law (Austrian and/or German law preferred).
- At least five years of relevant experience in a law firm, consultancy, or corporate legal/HR department.
- Proven success in managing employment relations and handling complex labor law matters. Strong understanding of contract law, executive agreements, and HR compliance policies.
- Ability to navigate international legal frameworks, particularly in Europe (experience in working with European Works Councils).
- Experience in auditing HR processes and ensuring compliance with local and international labor standards.
- Ability to think and act swiftly, in a dynamic environment, and take initiative while managing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and engage with stakeholders at all levels by building trusted, effective relationships.
- Fluency in English and German is essential; any additional languages are a strong asset.

For this position, an annual compensation package starting at € 80,000 gross all-in on a full-time basis is offered, according to your qualifications and professional experience.
