As an Operations Digitalization Specialist, you will own key digital products, drive end-to-end digitalization projects, and act as the center of expertise for modern automation and AI within Operations. You will work closely with Cabin, OCC, Ground Operations, Crew Management, Safety and IT, turning needs into innovative tools that improve performance, reliability, and user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver operational digitalization projects end-to-end, from idea to implementation, ensuring strong project management, clear milestones, and measurable outcomes, including coordination with external partners or vendors when required
- Own the development and continuous improvement of the Marabu Cabin App, including feature enhancements, design updates, data flows, and stakeholder collaboration
- Design, build, and maintain new digital tools and Operations Apps using Microsoft Power Apps, supporting departments such as OCC, Ground Operations, Crew Management, and more, including the evaluation and integration of external tools
- Identify, develop, and integrate AI Agents into operational workflows, ensuring they deliver real efficiency gains, reliability, and strong user adoption
- Build and manage data pipelines and automations, including SQL queries, data transformations, and Power Automate workflows used across Operations with the ability to connect to external data sources and vendor APIs
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, translating operational needs into digital solutions and ensuring effective adoption and change management, while actively contributing to cross-departmental projects (e.g., connectivity initiatives)
- Ensure stability, usability, and ongoing optimization of all deployed digital tools, including post-launch monitoring, troubleshooting, and long-term roadmap development
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience managing and delivering digital or IT-related projects end-to-end
- Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate
- Strong practical understanding of SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
- Understanding of how data flows between systems and how to structure simple data pipelines
- Interest and foundational knowledge in AI and the implementation of AI Agents
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly and effectively to non-technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and the ability to drive initiatives independently
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the European Union (valid work permit or EU citizenship required)
- Fluency in English (German or Estonian language skills are a plus)
- Experience with Excel VBA
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
- Previous exposure to airline or operational environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
