Full-timeProduct Management, Marketing
Here at Malwarebytes, we believe that when you’re free from threats, you’re free to thrive. It all started in 2008 with one person who needed help with a malware infection, and a community coming together to find solutions. In that moment in time a product was born for all people, with a mission to rid the world of malware. Our product has since grown and evolved, from removing malware, to protecting devices, to ever-changing prevention.

About Malwarebytes Inc.

Malwarebytes began after our founder, Marcin Kleczynski, accidentally infected his parents’ computer while downloading a video game as a teenager. At the time, there was no product that could fully solve the problem, so he set out to build one. That early experience shaped our mission: to create protection that works when people need it most.

Since then, the digital threat landscape has only grown more complex. Attackers are faster, stealthier, and more sophisticated, while traditional solutions often overwhelm people with complicated tools and settings. At Malwarebytes, we believe protection should be both powerful and refreshingly simple because if security feels too hard to use, people will not use it. That is why our aspiration is always to stay one step ahead: cutting through the noise, stopping threats others miss, and delivering peace of mind in an unpredictable digital world.

Malwarebytes is looking for..

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to accelerate our Identity Protection product line and shape the next generation of consumer security.

You will be a part of an all-star consumer product team that is responsible for shaping our strategy, defining business requirements, and determining sprint priorities for privacy and identity protection products. You will partner with other product management team members to deliver final products to our different platforms – Cloud, Desktop and Mobile. This position will work closely with engineering, marketing, user experience, program management and customer support.

A successful product manager is an expert on their products with excellent communication skills to evangelize products internally across functional teams and externally to Malwarebytes. The ability to communicate the values of Malwarebytes solutions by providing key use cases, product demonstrations and roadmap presentations is key to your success.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the identity protection product strategy: translate customer insights, market signals, and internal data into a compelling identity roadmap.
  • Conduct market and user research to identify unmet customer needs and to inform future product direction, based on analysis of competitive landscape and conduct technology assessments.
  • Own and optimize the consumer experience: lead end-to-end consumer UX across onboarding, activation, subscription, and ongoing engagement.
  • Partner with Growth and Lifecycle teams to drive funnel performance and improve adoption, conversion, renewal, and retention.
  • Build a scalable identity platform: work with engineering to define platform capabilities — data pipelines, eventing, detection logic, partner integrations, APIs, and cross-product shared services.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery: collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Data Science, Threat Intelligence, Customer Support, and Marketing.
  • Execute with excellence: Partner with Program Management and Marketing to deliver high-quality launches and engage with Support to understand pain points, emerging threats, and areas of opportunity.

Skills You'll Need To Have

  • 5+ years of software product management experience, with a strong track record in consumer-facing products
  • Technical aptitude — able to understand platform architecture, data flows, APIs, and detection logic, and translate complex technical concepts into clear product flows
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously, drive clarity, and make tradeoffs to drive results and impact in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building or working with complex, high-trust products such as identity, fintech, security, or similar domains
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new domains and skills, with a focus on staying updated with industry trends and best practices
  • Strong background in consumer UX, growth funnels, experimentation (A/B testing), and PLG motions
  • Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries (engineering, marketing, support...) and across multiple organizational levels
  • Excellent communication skills — able to articulate product vision, influence across teams, and present to senior leadership
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and strong leader with excellent attention to detail
  • Travel as required
