DevOps Engineer – Munster or Remote from Ireland

DevOps engineer required for our Cork based client, a Software Product House with massive scope for career progression. This is a fast paced, young, dynamic organization that develops a number of e-commerce web applications, delivering a high-performance system to global users.

The DevOps Engineer will use Agile methodologies and will play an important role in ensuring the highest levels of delivery in the next phase of features and products.

This role can be fulfilled remotely from anywhere in Ireland, with once a month meeting onsite in Cork or be fully based in the region.

Responsibilities

• ​Work with the existing team to build and automate environments across multiple platforms.
• Create scripts in conjunction with support concepts across automation for analytics, automated QA, monitoring etc.
• Liaise closely with Productions teams regarding issues as they arise, be involved in troubleshooting where required and documenting same

Requirements:

• You should have at least three years of commercial post grad experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Tools required include; Docker, Ansible and various Configuration Management technologies
• Exceptional communication skills
• Cloud experience (ideally but not necessarily AWS) a bonus
