About the Role:
My client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Intermediate Project Manager to join their team. This role offers exposure to diverse projects within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. You will support the delivery of small works contracts, assist with cost control, and ensure smooth coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in managing small works contracts, including landscaping and minor civil works.
- Variation Assessments: Support in evaluating and tracking project variations.
- Documentation Management: Coordinate collateral warranties, performance bonds, and contract handover documentation.
- Cost Control: Provide assistance in monitoring and managing construction costs and miscellaneous expenses.
- Dashboard Tracking: Maintain and update commercial data on project dashboards for reporting purposes.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to procurement principles and contract requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Procurement).
- Up to 4 years’ experience in contracting or project delivery.
- Experience working in the construction industry is essential for this role.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and contract law basics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar PV, wind) is an advantage.
