Location: Fully Remote (Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania preferred)
Contract Duration: 2–3 weeks over Christmas / New Year period to assist with a go live project
Start Date: 22nd December
Availability: Must be available throughout the period except standard Christmas shutdown days
Overview
An Azure Infrastructure Engineer who will provide short-term, on-demand technical expertise during a critical go-live window for an ERP solution deployment. The contractor will work closely with the internal team to ensure stability, readiness, and rapid problem resolution across the Azure estate. This role requires someone comfortable stepping into a high-pressure environment, offering both guidance and hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilites
- Provide expert Azure infrastructure support throughout the go-live period.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Azure Application Gateway
- Azure SQL (configuration, migration, optimisation)
- Networking, identity, and platform components
- Support final testing cycles, environment readiness checks, and deployment validation.
- Deliver reactive troubleshooting, responding quickly to incidents or unexpected issues.
- Offer expert guidance to the wider team, advising on best practices and potential risks.
- Perform hands-on technical activities where required, including configuration, fixes, and environment adjustments.
- Document any incident resolutions, changes, or improvements made during the engagement.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including Application Gateway, Azure SQL, and core Azure infrastructure (networking, identity, security, monitoring).
- Supporting infrastructure during go-live or time-critical deployment phases.
- Performing deep-dive troubleshooting across Azure components
- Strong communication skills, capable of advising and supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and handle ad-hoc tasks with short notice.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with remote teams across the Baltics.
- Background in supporting ERP solutions in Azure environments.
- Previous consultancy or incident-response experience.
