Zorggenoot is a fast-growing health-tech startup entering its scale-up phase. Our mission is to simplify digital care coordination for informal caregivers through our SaaS platform.

Zorggenoot consists of 16 colleagues. We are an ambitious team with all the essential disciplines of a full-fledged company: three developers, a UX designer, a product owner, and specialized support in marketing, client activation, and customer support.

We work in an agile environment: we deliver quickly, build with purpose, and create impact from start to finish.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who wants to take ownership, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited about shaping both the product and our development culture as we scale.

What You’ll Do

·        The job is not remote but hybrid

·        You work 2 days a week in our office in Utrecht. De andere dagen werk je vanuit huis

·        Build, improve and maintain features of our SaaS platform using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

·        Contribute to our backend migration from PHP/Laravel to Node.js, influencing architecture and best practices.

·        Ensure top-notch accessibility, performance, security, and responsive design.

·        Contribute to our design system and UI component libraries.

·        Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and monitoring.

·        Work across the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

·        Collaborate closely with founders and the development team to shape our roadmap and technical direction.

·        Help build a culture focused on quality, clarity, and iteration.

·        Integrating AI into our products (designing prompt logic, processing inputs and outputs, safeguarding data quality)

What You Bring

As a senior developer, we expect you to have strong fundamentals in web development.

Frontend

·        Deep knowledge of React & Next.js.

·        Experience with UI component libraries and design systems.

·        Strong grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance.

·        Ability to build interactive features (motion, charts, complex UI flows).

Backend & Architecture

·        Experience with backend systems (Node.js is a must; PHP/Laravel is a plus).

·        Solid understanding of SQL databases, coaching, and authentication.

·        Experienced with web architecture, security best practices, and SOLID Principles.

·        Experience with AWS is a big plus

Engineering Craft

·        Comfortable writing tests, performing code reviews, and debugging complex issues.

·        Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.

·        Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and maintaining systems in production.

·        Familiarity working with or integrating AI APIs.

Wat je gaat doen

• The functie is niet remote maar hybride
• Je werkt 2 dagen per week op ons kantoor in Utrecht. De andere dagen werk je vanuit huis
• Bouwen, verbeteren en onderhouden van features binnen ons SaaS-platform met React, Next.js en TypeScript.
• Bijdragen aan onze backend-migratie van PHP/Laravel naar Node.js, waarbij je meedenkt over architectuur en best practices.
• Waarborgen van uitstekende toegankelijkheid, performance, security en responsive design.
• Meebouwen aan ons design system en onze UI-componentbibliotheken.
• Implementeren en onderhouden van CI/CD-pipelines, geautomatiseerde tests en monitoring.
• Werken aan de volledige product-lifecyle: van idee tot deployment.
• Intensief samenwerken met de founders en het developmentteam om onze roadmap en technische richting te bepalen.
• Helpen bij het creëren van een cultuur gericht op kwaliteit, helderheid en iteratie.
• Integreren van AI binnen onze producten (ontwerpen van prompt-logica, verwerken van input/output, bewaken van datakwaliteit).

Wat jij meebrengt

We verwachten dat je als senior developer sterke fundamentals hebt in webdevelopment.
