BettingJobs is working with an emerging online casino operator that are looking Junior Data analyst to work remotely within Romania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write simple to moderately complex SQL queries using SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, ORDER BY, and GROUP BY
• Filter, sort, and aggregate data using functions such as COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN, and MAX
• Understand and navigate basic database structures, including tables, columns, and primary keys
• Validate and troubleshoot query results to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with team members to support reporting and data extraction needs
• Import and read data from CSV, Excel, and similar file formats into Pandas DataFrames
• Clean and prepare datasets, including handling missing values, renaming columns, and adjusting data types
• Manipulate data using filtering, grouping, merging, and aggregation operations in Pandas
• Write simple Python scripts or functions to streamline data preparation and transformation tasks
• Apply basic programming concepts—loops, conditionals, functions—to support data workflows
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses and help generate clear, interpretable outputs

Requirements:

• Foundational knowledge of SQL, with an emphasis on querying and manipulating relational data
• Experience using Python for data manipulation, especially with the Pandas library
• Understanding of basic programming principles (variables, loops, conditionals, functions)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
