Overview

We are looking for a Freelance Project Manager with 4–6 years of hands-on delivery experience across complex IT initiatives in large, multi-stakeholder environments. The assignment requires strong project governance, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to drive structured execution across both business and IT domains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex enterprise IT projects involving multiple business and technology streams.
  • Apply and balance Agile and traditional project methodologies to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery.
  • Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, steering groups, and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee project planning, governance, risk management, resource allocation, and solution alignment.
  • Support organisational change and transformation activities in line with strategic objectives.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Several years of documented experience managing and implementing complex IT projects in large organisations.
  • Strong experience interacting with diverse stakeholder groups across operational and IT functions.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management practices.
  • Proven experience presenting to steering committees and executive teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish an advantage).


Preferred Experience (Meritorious)

  • Experience implementing solutions for category planning, assortment management, or retail transformation.
  • Background in leading change programmes in retail or supply-chain-driven organisations.
  • Recognised project/change management certifications: PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
