What To Expect
As a QA-engineer you focus on backend applications, intended for, but not limited to, the European market. You design and run tests, debug and identify any necessary improvements for our in-house developed financial and sales-oriented backend applications.
The objective is to automate test scenarios that are currently performed manually and to work closely with product and end users to identify solid test scenarios. Hereby you focus on the different aspects of our financial and sales-oriented backend applications where you will not only work on urgent, direct changes, but also independently on regional projects. You are therefore responsible for conducting tests prior to product launch to ensure that the software meets our needs. It is an exciting and demanding position that requires to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-moving, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as product owners, developers and business owners to create detailed and structured test plans and test cases. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Collaborate with product analysts when the bugs are fixed. Identify, register, document bugs found in detail Communicative and operational skills as well as the ability to work with many stakeholders The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel. Raise the bar high for the quality of the product and the team, be an advocate of the customer
What You'll Bring
Experience working in an Agile development environment Strong experience in the latest backend/frontend web stack: NET core, C#, and Angular or React. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus Proficient user in Jira, Xray, Confluence and Git. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, i.e. Xray, Selenium and Python Proven knowledge and experience with RESTful web services and SQL databases Mastering the English language in both written and verbal form is required, and some flexibility in working hours is necessary because different teams work in different time zones
