Responsible for providing specialist mechanical engineering support for offshore projects, focusing on static equipment, wellhead towers, subsea cable and piping systems, and brownfield modifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review mechanical design and engineering for static equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.).
- Provide technical support for offshore wellhead towers, subsea cable routing, and piping systems.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability studies.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams.
- Support modification, upgrade, and brownfield project activities.
- Review vendor documents and ensure technical integrity in all mechanical deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering - static for oil and gas projects.
- Strong experience in offshore projects, especially wellhead towers, subsea systems, and brownfield work.
- Good knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
