What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Building and maintaining RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and external integrations
- Collaborating with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to define and implement new features and enhancements
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Utilizing Hibernate for object-relational mapping and data persistence
- Working with both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and technology stack
- Proficient in Core Java (Java 8 or higher), with deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures
- Strong proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with Hibernate for ORM and data access layers
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases
- Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable and resilient backend systems
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in Java development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous
- Experience with messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a bonus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Professional proficiency in English is required
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is valued
