Job Summary:
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's databases and developing insightful Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, design and maintain efficient database structures, extract and transform data, and create meaningful reports and dashboards that support informed decision making and drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain relational databases to support business applications and reporting needs. o Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization techniques to ensure efficiency and data integrity.
- Perform database administration tasks, including backups, recovery, security management, and user access control.
- Gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytical needs from various departments.
- Design and develop BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using relevant BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects).
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support business decision-making.
- Internal o Interpret data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Database Analyst or BI Analyst, with hands-on experience in database management and BI development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects).
