Senior Network Administrator - MUST HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Work Model: Onsite – Gatineau, Quebec

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Network Administrator for a Government of Canada client. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing secure network architectures and services while overseeing server administration, network security, and connectivity for reliable system performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• 5+ years of Defence/Military experience
• Planning, installing, managing and implementing network architectures;
• Windows 2003 Server or higher system administration;
• Managing TCP/IP, Network file system, and name servers;
• Microsoft Exchange Server administration;
• SQL Server Administration;
• Preparing and implementing network policies and procedures;
• Managing network personnel and Networking security;
• Managing Internet services (e.g. web servers, ftp servers, etc.);
• Gateway, bridge and router management; and
• Management and security of systems connected to the Internet.

Only candidates who hold an active Secret Clearance will be considered at this time.

Must be available to work onsite, full time in Ottawa
