Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful HR lead in middle east to execute and support day-to-day HR operations across the Middle East region (Qatar, UAE, KSA). Based in our Qatar regional office, this role serves as the HR face and point of contact for employees and management in the region, ensuring smooth communication, operational efficiency, and alignment with Group HR policies and direction.

The incumbent will act as a liaison between the regional offices and the Head Office HR team, assisting in recruitment coordination, onboarding, documentation, employee relations, and routine HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all regional HR queries and ensure effective coordination with Head Office HR.
  • Support implementation of HR policies, initiatives, and communications across Qatar, UAE, and KSA.
  • Provide input and suggestions to Head Office HR for policy updates and improvements, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Actively source, screen, and shortlist candidates for regional positions, and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and Head Office HR.
  • Plan, schedule, and ensure all employee orientations are completed within the timelines specified in SOPs.
  • Ensure employee contracts are up to date and initiate renewals before expiry.
  • Gather and share market insights on salaries and benefits to support Head Office in compensation planning.
  • Coordinate HR operations including employee insurance, travel arrangements, documentation, and logistics support for regional and project-based staff.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process by managing OKR inputs and ensuring timely completion on HRIS.
  • Facilitate employee relations, grievance handling, and help promote a positive and transparent work culture.
  • Actively engage with the CEG Team to plan and execute wellbeing, awareness, and engagement events for regional employees.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR generalist or HR coordination experience, preferably within engineering, technology, or project-based organizations.
  • Exposure to multi-country HR operations is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and documentation.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with ME and regional labor requirements is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
