We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with strong product-thinking skills, a user-centered mindset, and a high-quality design portfolio to help shape the future of Masai’s learner and partner experiences.

Role Overview

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will lead the full design lifecycle — from user research and conceptualization to prototyping, interface design, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams. You will ensure our digital products are functional, elegant, and aligned with learner needs.

Translate user insights into actionable design decisions and product improvements.

Create personas, flows, information architecture, and interaction models to support product direction.

UI Design & Prototyping

Design intuitive, visually compelling, and consistent UI for web and mobile applications.

Build high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design assets that communicate functionality clearly to engineering and product teams.

Maintain and evolve Masai’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability.

Collaboration & Execution

Work closely with product managers, engineers, content, and growth teams to refine requirements and ensure accurate implementation.

Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, and help uplift design quality across the team.

Iterate rapidly based on feedback, data insights, and evolving user needs.

Leadership & Ownership

Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a strong design culture at Masai.

Advocate for user accessibility, usability standards, and design best practices in all product discussions.

Take ownership of design outcomes from concept to launch and beyond.
