Projects Lead
Role Overview
The Projects Lead will oversee end-to-end delivery of New Store Opening (NSO) projects and drive operational excellence across the existing store network. The role involves steering project planning, design coordination, vendor management, and on-ground execution while ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are consistently met. The Projects Lead will guide a team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and provide strategic inputs to strengthen project delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Governance
• Own the full NSO project cycle, from design review to site handover, and create a predictable delivery rhythm across all projects.
• Lead planning sessions, monitor project milestones, and ensure adherence to PERT schedules and budget parameters.
• Provide direction to project managers, site teams, and vendors to maintain execution quality and timely progress.
• Oversee O&M processes for existing stores, troubleshoot escalations, and support corrective action planning.
Design, Technical Coordination, and Documentation
• Drive coordination with Architects of Record (AOR) for drawings, BOQs, and technical clarifications.
• Review, validate, and approve BOQs, rate analyses, technical specifications, and Notice of Award (NOA) documentation.
• Ensure all technical inputs required by the Commercial and Procurement teams are accurate and timely.
• Govern material selection, MAT code creation, and sample approvals.
Vendor, EPC, and Stakeholder Management
• Build strong partnerships with vendors, EPC partners, and contractors; ensure resource readiness and timely delivery at site.
• Monitor PO and WO issuance, invoice certification, and financial documentation flow.
• Track closure of requests raised with EPC partners and drive accountability across external teams.
Execution Excellence and Site Oversight
• Conduct periodic visits to NSO and renovation sites to assess progress, quality, safety adherence, and compliance.
• Identify risks, propose mitigations, and ensure issues are escalated and resolved quickly.
• Maintain clear reporting dashboards covering project progress, cost status, risks, and dependencies.

• Strong command over project management practices in retail fit-outs.
• Design coordination expertise with an understanding of architectural and MEP elements.
• Ability to evaluate BOQs, drawings, rate analyses, and technical proposals.

Experience
6 to 12 years of project management experience in:
