About The Job

The Head of Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in defining and executing the supply strategy for short- and long-term horizons to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. This includes strategic planning, orchestration, and optimization of all supply chain activities—from demand planning and inventory management to warehousing, distribution, and delivering the right product, in the right quantity and quality, at the right time.

The role is accountable for a robust Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process aligned with growth ambitions, a Customer Care function ensuring an efficient order-to-cash cycle, and high-performing warehousing and distribution operations. Additionally, it involves managing the supply chain budget, monitoring performance through quality, cost, and service metrics, and driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with company goals, setting performance metrics and targets.
  • Champion a robust, sustainable IBP process to drive integrated business and operations decisions.
  • Oversee inventory management strategies to optimize turnover, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
  • Ensure a streamlined, compliant order-to-cash process for excellent customer experience and data accuracy.
  • Establish efficient warehousing and distribution operations to guarantee On Time In Full (OTIF) deliveries.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive process improvements through lean principles, technology adoption, and automation.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans and diversifying suppliers.
  • Implement technologies and systems to enhance visibility, automation, and efficiency; stay current on emerging trends.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and talent development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align supply chain activities with overall business strategies.
  • Integrate sustainable and ethical practices into the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulations.

About You

  • Experience: Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, technologies, and best practices; Strong experience in planning, customer service, inventory, warehousing, and distribution; familiarity with analytics and forecasting tools; Preferably with prior manufacturing and supply experience ; Proven track record of aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives, driving cost efficiency, and optimizing performance.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams; Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and supplier negotiations;

Proficiency in ERP systems, analytics tools, and emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain) ; Results-driven, able to balance global and local objectives.

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Languages: Fluent in local language and excellent command of English;
