Software Engineer with DevOps skills to develop and maintain our cyber risk quantification
applications within our private cloud environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to
own projects end-to-end, working across backend development and private cloud

What You'll Do
DevOps on Private Cloud (30%):
- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes,
Helm), including network configuration for containerized applications.
- Improve deployment pipelines and automate development workflows, including
resource provisioning and configuration within the private cloud.
- Manage our virtualization platforms such as vCenter and Proxmox.
Backend Development (70%):
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient backend services using Python.
- Optimize database interactions and query performance.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
What You'll Bring
Technical Skills
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (vCenter, Proxmox or similar)
- Experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks).- Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration
- Proactive and takes ownership of projects from inception to completion.
- Versatile and adaptable, comfortable working across backend and private cloud
infrastructure.
