DevOps (Linux Cloud Engineer)

Leading SaaS organisation is currently looking for a Senior Linux Cloud Engineer to join their Technology Team and assist in delivering both project based and business-as-usual services to customers.
As a Senior Linux Cloud Engineer, your role will be varied, and will span everything from managing existing customer systems, ensuring systems and services are secure and developing new environments using an infrastructure-as-code approach to assist the development team with test environments and continuous testing and integration solutions.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, your role will be to work closely with the broader Development and TechOps teams to deliver reliable, robust and secure platforms for our internal teams and our customers.

Your Experience.
Extensive experience with the Amazon Web Services platform, as this is the current primary platform for multiple applications.
Experience with the Microsoft Azure platform, as this is our preferred cloud-based service.
Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and tooling for web hosting as well as knowledge of deploying custom application on the Linux OS.
Experience with Microsoft Windows in a server hosting environment would also be advantageous.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code technologies, particularly Terraform.
Kubernetes experience and experience with orchestration solutions such as Rancher.
Knowledge of scripting languages (ideally Bash, Python and Ruby – but general knowledge here is fine).
Experience with deployment via CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab would be advantageous (but general knowledge of continuous integration systems is acceptable)
Previous experience with Puppet would be highly regarded.
