As an AO8 Project Manager (Digital and Corporate Communications), you will deliver quality digital projects, services and advice to support improving customercentricity and user experience, aligned with delivering the department's strategic objectives.
Your role will focus on managing an intranet redevelopment project, including a migration from SharePoint to a modern, customisable CMS, using human-centred design methodologies. You will be supported by two dedicated project team members. You may also be required to support additional digital projects or services.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage all aspects of identified projects, including work package delivery, budget, vendor relationships and contracts, recruitment, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables to ensure they meet best practice and mandatory standards, are informed by consumer insights, trends and research, and comply with relevant policies.
- Monitor and evaluate project delivery through effective reporting, metrics and analysis.
- Manage escalations and complex issues and provide professional guidance and support as required.
- Design strategic project plans and solutions that add value to the department's objectives, priorities, delivery programs and reputation.
- Support departmental policies and procedures and contribute to effective governance processes.
- Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of project staff.
