Key Responsibilities
Frontend-Focused Fullstack Engineering
- Design and develop user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Translate product requirements into responsive and accessible UI components.
- Ensure a seamless user experience through thoughtful design and interaction.
- Collaborate with backend developers on API integrations and data flow.
- Contribute to backend logic and services using Ruby on Rails, or be willing to learn and support backend development as needed.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing and integration testing.
- Work with or be open to learning testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and support team growth.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering best practices and technical processes.
Educational Attainment:
- Technical degree or background in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.
- Strong experience in fullstack development, with emphasis on frontend technologies.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript is required (5+ years).
- Solid object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is highly preferred (or strong interest in learning it).
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress is a plus.
- Strong fullstack coding ability, with an emphasis on frontend user interfaces.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and modern deployment pipelines.
- Fluent English (C2+ level required).
- Clear and proactive communicator in remote, cross-cultural environments.
- Product-focused, ownership-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate on different parts of the stack.
- Autonomous and self-motivated, with a passion for building meaningful products.
