Your Tasks
- Develop and test desktop medical software applications using C++, following industry standards and best practices
- Design, implement and maintain a cloud-based database solution for medical imaging data, optimizing access, stability, and scalability
- Develop and execute comprehensive software tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to validate software functionality and compliance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and test plans to facilitate understanding and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and develop innovative solutions for research-driven software projects
- Master’s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python and object-oriented programming; hands-on experience with the Qt framework (Qt Widgets and/or QML) for desktop application development is a plus
- Strong experience with SQL and database design, including cloud integration and data security principles
- Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle tools, version control (Git), and issue tracking workflows; familiarity with medical imaging, AI, or cloud-based software systems is an advantage
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus

Minimum Salary: Annual gross salary from € 57,785.75, based on professional qualification and experience.
