In this role, you will be a key player ensuring smooth financial operations for our Finnish entity. You’ll take responsibility for AP processing, VAT and tax compliance, and accurate financial data—while working closely with colleagues in Finland, Iceland, and across the Nordics.

- Maintain the fixed asset register and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Process and manage all supplier invoices and purchases for the Finnish entity.
- Prepare and submit VAT reports to the Finnish tax agency, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Track and record monthly journals for salaries, taxes, accruals, and other relevant entries.
- Support internal and external financial reporting with accurate and timely data.
- Maintain communication with suppliers, tax agencies, and other relevant authorities.
- Work closely with other departments to support efficient financial processes.
- Collaborate actively with the finance headquarters in Iceland and the broader atNorth finance team.
- Provide backup support for accounts payable activities in other entities when needed.
We hope you are a structured and experienced finance professional who takes pride in delivering accuracy and reliability. You enjoy working in an international environment, have a strong understanding of Finnish VAT and tax regulations, and bring a proactive, collaborative attitude to your work.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of local GAAP and bookkeeping principles.
- Proven experience with Finnish VAT and tax reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Good organizational skills and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Experience with accounting systems (Dynamics 365 F&O is an advantage).
- Around 6 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
