We are seeking an experienced Head of People to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This role is ideal for a strategic People leader who can confidently own our People function end-to-end, driving culture, talent and organisational effectiveness during a key period for the business post Series B funding.

You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our leadership team, shaping people strategy, and ensuring our employees have an exceptional experience throughout the next year.

What You’ll Do

Business Partnership

  • Partner with the Executive Team (ET) to achieve company goals through effective Talent Acquisition and People strategy.
  • Support the ET in designing, updating, and optimising organisational structures that enable effective execution of company strategy.
  • Continue to develop HR strategies and policies, and streamline people processes.
  • Lead and continuously improve the full performance management lifecycle (goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, and underperformance processes).
  • Drive continuous improvement and learning culture by reviewing our L&D initiatives.
  • Support team leads and the ET in addressing people and performance issues, providing guidance grounded in fairness, consistency and employment law.
  • Lead DEI initiatives across the company (programs, trainings, communication, data tracking).
  • Partner with Finance on budgets, headcount planning, payroll inputs (per diems etc.) and internal spend protocols.
  • Serve as a trusted feedback channel between employees and the ET, ensuring healthy communication loops.

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the TA team and oversee talent pipelines across external partners (agencies) and internal sourcing channels (employees, outbound, networks).
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives e.g., Welcome to the Jungle, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Aibidia’s careers page.
  • Create competitive, data-driven compensation frameworks for new hires, especially equity benchmarking for leadership roles.

HR Admin

  • Advise the Executive Leadership team on employment law matters and ensure global compliance.
  • Own our HRIS platform (Personio), including compliance checks, data quality, and People analytics reporting.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end, ensuring compliance, exceptional employee experience, and operational readiness.
  • Manage the Office Management teams that oversee international company offices and workplace experiences.
  • Maintain employment partnerships with EoR (Eg: Remote.com) and local payroll vendors.
  • Drive automation of People Support processes, including Zendesk ticketing and workflow design.
  • Manage sponsorship and immigration processes for the UK and ensure all compliance duties are met.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 5+ years of experience in versatile HR leadership roles
  • Relevant background in VC-backed growth Tech companies
  • Relevant stage experience (Series B), and/or has helped the company to grow from 100+ employees
  • Ability to quickly understand Aibidia’s business
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Understanding of labor law matters in Finland, US, UK and other relevant markets where we operate.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data-privacy frameworks.
  • Experience supporting internal data and information security audits with required HR/People documentation.
