Python/ Go Software Engineer – AI Agents

My client builds no-code voice AI agents that automate phone calls for contact centers and BPO operations at scale. They've already saved over 5 million hours of operations and handled 45 million calls with 99.9% uptime.

Backed by top-tier investors like Accel and Atlantic Labs with over 1,000 customers already using their platform. You'll work on reliability at massive scale - handling 10-15k calls per second with strict latency budgets in real-time AI orchestration.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and help build and evolve our AI Platform, which is the backbone that powers our large-scale voice AI agents. We need someone who is strong in Python and also proficient in Go, capable of confidently navigating across the backend stack to address our current capacity needs, especially on the Python side.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and maintaining backend platform services, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Helping to break down a monolith into high-performance services for stronger test coverage and clearer lines of ownership.
• Pushing to make the platform fully enterprise-grade, focusing on observability, compliance, multi-region deployments, and a robust deployment process.
• Ensuring real-time AI orchestration with LLMs, ASR, text-to-speech, telephony, and business logic in a tight loop of less than 300-700 milliseconds.
• Contributing to developer experience and platform acceleration, helping teams ship faster and safer through golden helm charts, better test harnesses, and load testing frameworks.

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer, with focus on Python
• Production- grade Go experience
• Experience building scalable and extensible data and platform infrastructure
• Strong hands- on experience running services on Kubernetes
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
• Open- source contributions
