About DLT Finance AG

DLT Finance is an EU-regulated infrastructure provider (founded 2019) enabling banks, brokers, exchanges, and fintechs to launch crypto products in 6-9 weeks. Regulatory compliant with 35+ pre-integrated vendors across banking, custody, compliance, and trading.

About you

• At least 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer, including recent experience with Golang - maybe you are currently a Principal, Staff Engineer, Tech Lead or Team Lead, or an Engineering Manager who wants to be more hands-on 
• Experience working in finance-based environments with knowledge in trading, settlement, and derivatives
• You’re a structured person who documents everything 
• You can be very hands on while also making architectural decisions and being the go-to tech person
• Experience with complex microservices, event-driven architecture, integrations and developing APIs
• Deep knowledge in system designs and software architectures
• You enjoy OOP and having your amazing code tested, documented, and validated
• You are comfortable with SDKs, APIs, automated generation, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Kubernetes and infrastructure knowledge is a plus
• Clean Architecture experience is a big plus 
• You enjoy a fast paced and ever-changing environment and can navigate ambiguity while staying focused on the outcome 
• Based in Europe or Asia (if you speak Mandarin)

What you will do

• As a Principal Engineer, the role can be shaped around who is hired and you will have opportunities to progress into other roles as the company grows. You’ll collaborate with product, devops and engineering to build from scratch in this new derivatives team 
• Collaborate closely with the CPO/Cofounder, Product Lead and the Head of Engineering
• Contribute to setting technical vision and defining the roadmap for the next quarters
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust and secure crypto trading platform
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, availability and security of our platform 
• Break down ambiguous problems and propose innovative solutions
• Identify areas of improvement to elevate software engineering practices, code quality, and system designs
