Senior Software Engineer – Java – Dubai or Abu Dhabi relocation

We´re currently hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, product-led fintech building next-generation investment technology.

This is a genuinely impactful role. You won’t just be writing code, you’ll be shaping systems that power trading, portfolio management, risk, and large-scale investment operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, building, and deploying software that supports investment products and platforms
• Leading system architecture for secure, scalable, high-traffic environments
• Working closely with product, data, compliance, and wider business teams
• Optimising systems for performance, reliability, and large transaction volumes
• Setting high standards for code quality, reviews, and documentation
• Ensuring security, privacy, and regulatory compliance are baked in
• Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level engineers

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a Fintech or neobank background
• Strong skills in Java
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience in financial, investment, or trading systems
